From the Coach: Tonight we looked like the 2001 version of the Fightin' Jerseys. We hit the ball well tonight and we also played decent defense and our pitchers threw strikes. The biggest accomplishment tonight was the turn out at the game and the love and sharing that was going on toward the Guerra family. We were very proud to donate over $2,000 to this great family. Tonight the key term was ‘teamwork' on and off the field! Jerseys play Sharyland this Friday at Pan Am.

From the Coach: What a win and just at the right time. Sharyland was carrying the valley's torch as the best team from the valley with a 22-1 record. Our kids looked and played with emotions and confidence like we did early in the year. We were challenged and I loved the way our kids responsed. Ready or not, it's show time and Luling coming to the show. Luling beat Odem so they will be our area opponent in a one game playoff this Friday with the site to be announced later. Game time will be 7:30 p.m. we are looking for a place to play in the San Antonio area.
