From the Coach: Well, things didn't get off to the start we wanted but it ended well for the green team. We had to rally from 4 runs down. Our kids are hitting the ball well and are starting to play more consistent defense. The game ended on a great preformance by Josh Cosby as he struck out 5 out of 6 batters. This was the spark this team needed going into Friday's playoff game versus Lyford. We are going to have to rely on some young arms and the experience of Josh Cosby throughout the bi-district series, until Bobby Gomez returns from his arm injury, which we hope is soon. Game One is Friday 7:00 p.m. in Mission, Game 2/3 is Saturday in La Joya starting at 2 p.m. until next time let's go get a Bulldog!
