We were alittle rusty but we got some work in and a game is better than practice any day of the week. Our playoff opponent will be Mathis as they won their bi-district series with Pearsall. I want to congratulate our kids for winning 20 games this year. Every year our program sets this as one of our goals. This is the 7th in a row and 11 out of 15 years. Our playoff opponent Mathis is a very talented young ballclub. They played in the district which is ruled by the Sinton Pirates the defending state champions. We will have our hands full and from now on it is do or die.
