Comments: It seemed like we haven't played in a month and we showed signs of it, especially at the plate. But our kids were disciplined at the plate and got on base in order for us to make things happen. Zeke Lopez had a big hit for us in the 3rd that put things away. Bobby Gomez and Danny Duarte took care of the pitching duties with 13 k's. We now go to Game 2 at 1:00 p.m. which concerns me because now a days you don't play too many afternoon games. We'll see how our kids do.

Comments: I was really happy how our kids handled the heat, and Game 1 victory. We looked a little more comfortable out there this afternoon. We hit the ball really well and Santana did his usually outstanding job on the mound. We now face Pharr Valley View in our Regional Quarter finals playoff T.B.A. Congratulations to our kids we accomplished a couple of more goals today, one was winning area and two was winning 20 games which has been a Jersey tradition.
