Comments: This one was a nail biter. I hope we got our playoff gitters out of the way and can relax and play ball like we are capable of. Glbert pitched a good game for us and the team played like a team and overcame adversity tonight. One thing we found out tonight is our opponent is 20-5 for all the good reasons. Tonight i saw our team reunite and show faith in the philosophy of the bunting game. Well, it's now on to Falfurrias for Game 2. It should be a good one and we are looking forward in seeing our fans do their thing at home.

Comments: All I can say is it was about time we played the way we did tonight. This game showed flashes of what this team is capable of doing. We pitched well, we hit a lot better and we finally got a chance to use our speed. Our kids have been working really hard on their hitting which is our strength but we have been in a slump lately. Tonight's win allows us to go forward in the playoffs versus Hidalgo or Devine in the quarter final round. Congratulations Fightin' Jerseys 2006 Area Champs!
