Comments: Character, that's what this team has. Down by 5, most teams would of checked it in and tried again tomorrow. Not this team, it will not quit. A lot of credit goes to our senior leadership. Jason, Mario, Ruben and Eric stepped it up and brought home a big victory in game 1. We now go to San Antonio to face a big challenge from Medina Valley cause I know they will not go away easily.

Comments: What a game! I told you Medina Valley would not go away easily but our good guys never gave up and put one more rally together in the eightth. Ruben Cisneros had a night to remember at the plate and on the mound. 13 k's and 5 rbi's is not a bad night at all. Ruben made Medina Valley pay for intentionally walking Jason twice and he came through twice. This team is on a roll now. We now face Sinton in the Regional Finals this Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday if needed at Aviator Field in Robstown. It should be as good as last year's finals. What an accomplishment by our senior class they set a program record of 105 wins in their career and now will participate in their 3rd straight regional final. They are also just one win shy of a school record 30 win season. There is plenty to play for but nothing more than a trip to the big show (Round Rock).
