Comments: This was not the way we wanted to start the season but better now than during district. We are experimenting with some new young players due to grades and injuries.

Comments: I felt our kids played well considering who they were playing against. R.J. flores did an outstanding job in keeping the Longhorns off stride. We made two mistakes and H. ortiz hit two homeruns to pull the #6 ranked team in the state away from us.

Comments: Good pitching and clutch hitting usually adds up to a victory and this one did. It was nice to get the first win. Lando pitched well and our defense backed him up.

Comments: The team showed their varsity playing inexperience by playing great through 4 and then letting a couple of errors change the whole game. This one just snowballed in the 6th. We are not mature enough to handle these things yet.

Comments: This was a great game. Our kids just have not been able to put all the pieces together for 7 innings. Eric Garza pitched a great game in his first ever outing. Hebbronville just played better defense and just have more experience than we have at closing games. We are getting better regardless of the scores and our team is creating some depth until our other starters come back.

Comments: We just made too many errors and we did not pitch as well as we could. We made a great comeback in the 5th but to their credit they scratched out another run and we couldn't get the big hit in the sixth and seventh.

Comments: This was a big win for our kids. They have been working so hard and couldn't buy a break. R.J. pitched a smart game and our defense played good enough to win. Gavin Trevino's coming back after an injury was a big lift for our team. This comeback win over a good 5-A program was just what the doctor ordered.

Comments: This one started out right but it made a u-turn in the 4th. We ran out of strikes and the little white ball keep playing tricks with our gloves. I have been very pleased with our offense. Our kids just have to learn how to stop the bleeding before it's too late.

Comments: Our bats finally woke up and lando had a good outing. Our kids came out very determine to play better than last night. this group is starting to jell. Making the all tournament team was R.J. Flores, Robo Cruz, and Ryan Regalado. We now play Riviera before we get ready for our tournament.

Comments: We had one bad inning that did us in tonight. I felt our pitchers did a good job but riviera showed us why they are the one of best teams. We continue to hit the ball fairly well and our pitching got a little sloppy. We will prepare for our tournament to start Thursday.

Comments: This turned out to be a competitive game. After upsetting Premont, Ben Bolt played like a very good team. Our kids just played well. We didn't hit like I would like them to but Lando did a great job on the mound.

Comments: Due the weather we had to cancel the losers side of the bracket and try to finish the winners side of the bracket. We had 5 games and unfortunately Laredo could not come back today, therefore we got a bye to the championship. We played very good Biship team that beat us last week at their place. We had to come from behind on our last at bat due to the time limit of 1:45. This was a great win for our young team just before district. Making the All-Tourney team was Lando Guerra, John Zuniga, Robo Cruz, Eric Garza, R.J. Flores.

Comments: Our kids did a better job of staying focused tonight. We hit the ball when we had to and they didn't. Mike and Lando came in relief and did a great job. Robo Cruz has been outstanding behind the plate with some great defensive blocks. We'll continue with district this coming Tuesday against Orange Grove. We meet our goal of going undefeated during spring break and put us over the .500 mark in the win column.
