Losing Pitcher: Guerra
Leading Hitters: Arevalo 2 hits
Comments: Well, game 1 didn’t start the way we wanted it to and we just couldn’t get things together to make a dent in the Bulldogs lead. Abel didn’t have his best stuff and our defense was not as sharp as it normally is. Offensively nothing was falling for us. Our kids have to get over this one quick cause Banquete is a well coached team that will not be beat themselves.

Regional Game #2
2015 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9  R H E
Falfurrias 1 1 2 0 0 0 0 - - 4 7 1
Banquete 1 2 3 2 1 0 x - - 9 11 1

Losing Pitcher: Garcia
Leading Hitters: Garcia 2 hits, 1 RBI
Comments: The game started just like we wanted it to with us throwing the first punch and responding to theirs, but in the end they pitched better than we did and it was obvious how much we missed Daniel not pitching for us. Nic gave us a valiant effort but Banquete just was better than us these two days. We wish them luck, they were a classy team. I want to thank our 5 seniors for such an incredible time these past 4 years. To Leo, Eli, Gavino, Daniel, and Pudge – Carlos it was an honor to wear the uniform with you guys. I wish you the best of luck and thank you for upholding the Tradition of Jersey Baseball. To the returning players the bar is set high by this senior class and we must commence working at going over this standard set by this senior class. Thank you to our Jersey fans for your devotion to our kids. We will be back with 4 returning pitchers and 6 starters the future is bright. To the parents, thank you for your understanding and support of our program. To my wife Sandra who along with MT ran our concession stand we owe the world to you both. Well, Mr. Pulido what can I say that I haven’t told you before, that this website would not be possible without you and I sincerely thank you and Jersey nation thanks you. Until next January, Jersey nation, remember the sun will come up tomorrow and so will Jersey Baseball.
