Comments: After traveling 390 miles from Fal to Laredo to Three Rivers to Seguin in 24 hours due to the weather, all I can say is our kids laid it all on the line without any excuses. The only reason I hate 1 game playoffs is it leaves you with thoughts of what if we had another chance. But it is what it is and give them credit; they played better today than we did. We left too many men on base and didn’t come through when we had our opportunities. Their pitcher kept us off balance and we just couldn’t get a good read of his pitches. Give Daniel is pat on the back as he battled for a very gutsy performance. I want to thank our 6 seniors who have been quite anhonor to coach and be with every day. They are the reason I got up every day to go to work with such a passion for this game. So for Darren, Dusty, Lupe, Leo, Bobby, and Gilbert, we want to thank you for the memories, effort, passion, laughter, and prayers. Thanks for becoming Jersey Baseball players that made us all our so proud of you. You guys could of jump off the roller coaster during the early part of the seaason, but you didn’t you strapped that belt up and we went to work. We want to wish all of you the best of luck in all your future endeavors. For the rest of us the future is bright, we return all 3 starting pitchers, 6 defensive starters, 7 offensive starters, and an outstanding JV team. We will join the valley district next year which I feel the change will be good for us. So all I can say is next year this bunch will ready to be the hunted or the hunter. Jersey Nation, thank you for all your support and remember the sun will come out tomorrow and if you have the opportunity touch’em all and keep them swinging for success.
